Ausmar holds an approval test for a Duarry liferaft in Port Ginesta
Ausmar – Duarry has officially approved its new 65-pax reversible liferaft with a smaller container.
These tests have taken place in the brand new facilities of the Port Ginesta boatyard (in Castelldefels), the greatest leisure harbour in Spain and the one that lies right next to Barcelona-El Prat International Airport. Port Ginesta has the best facilities when it comes to Recreational Boating, as well as a professional team and experienced staff.
The approval testing of the new liferafts consisted of a weight test, during which two different and full-equipped liferafts were weighted and checked, launched in a 10-metre free fall and, finally, deployed. Witnessing all the testing was a technical supervisor from the Germanischer Lloyd, a classification society responsible for approving this kind of liferafts.
