We are pleased to inform you that Ausmar participates as an exhibitor in the second edition of the International Defense and Security Fair (Feindef), which takes place from the 3rd until the 5th of November at Ifema fair, Madrid.
FEINDEF, a benchmark fair for the defense sector in Spain, aims to contribute to the global response to security through innovation and collaboration.
The activity plan to be developed seeks to reaffirm this exhibition as the most important defense and security event held in Spain, by creating a space in which new networking opportunities are generated among the exhibitors and the international delegations, national authorities and visitors in general.
Ausmar incorporates a new product exclusively for Catalonia, FirePro Condensed Aerosols. As part of our sustainability policy, we continue to support new initiatives and products with a minimum impact on the environment.
Faithful to our commitment to the preservation of the environment, with projects such as Hydroville and Ortze, we have added FirePro to our catalogue. An innovative fire extinguishing system that respects the environment.
FirePro is a condensed aerosol system composed of potassium salts, without incorporating any pyrotechnic material and with the clean agent certification.
FirePro is available in different models to suit a wide variety of applications. Its technology is based on a solid compound "SBK", rich in potassium salts (K), which when activated causes a chemical reaction and rapidly converts into a powerful aerosol. It is certified for class A, B, C and F fires and has a tested useful life of 15 years and is not harmful to the environment or people.
FirePro is compatible with conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
Environmentally Friendly Fire Suppression:
Assessed by the Global Eco-labelling Network GEN (Global Eco-labelling Network)

The 8th of November and on board of the "One Planet One Ocean", the sailor Didac Costa set off from Les Sables D'Olonne for a new challenge: the Vendée Globe 2020. We have followed Didac very closely since his first Vendée Globe, due to his skill as sailor and for his commitment to the nautic sport and the protection of the oceans.
In this new edition of the VG, as Ausmar - Duarry, we wanted to go further and be part of his team as technical partners. D. Costa has put together with Ausmar all the safety equipment inside the Imoca 60 to guarantee maximum safety and absolute autonomy throughout the more than three months of sailing in extremely tough conditions.
Don't miss the opportunity to follow the race around the world, non-stop and without assistance from our RRSS.
ANEN, the National Association of Nautical Enterprises, confirms that the sector of recreational boating is ready for re-start with the imminent start of their activities.
The practice of sailing can be enjoyed progressively from phase I and will be extended in each of the phases covered in the de-escalation to reach phase III, without limitations.
Remember that, under the strict parameters of safety and hygiene set by the Health Authorities and by the geographical limitations on mobility, from today, Monday 4th May, you can practice sport sailing (non-professional) individually and in the waters of the same municipality where the boat is located and the owner resides.
It is also possible for owners to visit their boats for safety and maintenance checks, provided that the boat is in the same municipality as the owner.
We provide the link to the document provided by the Directorate General of Merchant Marine (Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda) confirming the status of recreational and sports sailing as an activity linked to the tourism sector, and not to maritime transport and therefore include the practice of recreational or sports sailing, gradually, in the various phases of the Government Plan.
On 5th and 6th March, the VIII Nautical Congress organized by the National Association of Nautical Enterprises (ANEN) took place. In this last edition, the Oceanogràfic of Valencia hosted the events around the annual reference event for the entire nautical community.
Under the slogan "Blue Growth", various conferences, debates and analyses were held where issues related to the future of the nautical sector in Spain were addressed. With the participation of representatives from the central government, economic analysts, leading legal experts and marketing experts, discussions were held on sustainability, legislation, new consumer uses, promotion and nautical tourism.
During the closing ceremony, the Minister of Transport and Mobility, José Luis Ábalos, claimed that the recreational boating sector today has great relevance of its own and contributes directly to the improvement and diversification of Spain's tourism offer.
The Spanish Maritime Safety Agency, a State executive agency attached to the Ministry of Development, attended this past summer a total of 1,328 rescues related to leisure boats along the Spanish coasts. The number of people rescued in these emergencies during this period were about 3,879.
The causes of leisure boats emergencies have mainly been mechanical failures, stranding, leak, fire / explosion and sinking or overturning.
We want to remind that before going out to sail one of the main priorities should be safety and prevention. Let's not forget that even if we are a few miles from the coast, an emergency situation especially with children, can lead to an undesirable end if we are not well equipped. Life jackets, man overboard devices and life rafts are essential in coastal navigation.
Within our catalog, our lifejackets, the Sea Tags device and our Duarry Coast Liferaft offer the security that every navigator and his crew need.
Ausmar consolidates its international presence by being present at the most relevant fairs in equipment and maritime industry worldwide.
